Approach: (30 minutes+): From the parking lot, take the left trail up hill towards the West Side. After 10 minutes you will pass the obvious Trailside Boulder. Take the trail to the left on the south side of the boulder and follow up the most obvious trail heading directly up hill. Stay on the main trail, passing a few side trails leading to bouldering areas. A few minutes past the large trailside boulder, you will pass two large boulders that are leaning on each other, creating a cave underneath, hence the name the Cave Boulder. Pass on the north side of the Cave Boulder and take the trail up and trending left. After a few minutes, you will reach the left side of the Screamweaver Buttress. Pass this, then pass a faint trail in a minute leading to Nuclear Arms. Keep going on the obvious trail for another minute and look right for a trail leading uphill. For the routes near Fine Line, don’t head up right, stay on the main trail for another minute. For a direct approach to the upper tier, climb any of these routes or keep following the rock face past Fine Line, then straight uphill. The upper tier routes will be on your right.
