In Asheville this weekend, went bouldering at Rumbling Bald.
Wild to see Lake Lure after hurricane Helene: water slides going nowhere, excavators in the dried up lake bed, trucks and trucks going non-stop up and down the winding roads.

The West Side Boulders were easy enough to get to, but the trails disappeared the further back we went. Past the Loaf, there was a lot of overgrowth and downed trees.
Still had a fun time. Hoping to come out again sometime soon.
