My opinion? UX is dead. It has long since migrated from the original intention of the founders. Moreover, the field has changed dramatically today.
I am strongly in favor of dropping “U” and talking only about X, or better yet XD: Experience Design. This is a more concise summary of the goal: to enhance the overall experience of all involved, even if it is secondary.
But then, what do I know?
